Inspiring Residents to Green Their Daily Lives and Their Community

 Summit, New Jersey

~~~~~~~~
Dear Friends of The Summit Green Fest,
Since May 10, every day I hear positive stories from people from all over New Jersey who shared our day. My personal goal for the Fest was to inspire everyone's daily lives and community towards a healthier future. With the help of all of you, I can proudly report we have made great strides towards realizing that goal. Thank-you for all that you do and let's keep it going!
Please enjoy these video reflections of the day posted below. And for more see the Summit Green Fest Photo page.
Have a lovely summer,
Anne Marie Treger, Founder of Summit Green
Phil from Bill McKibben's movement 350.org created this video of artist/activist Kevin Buckland at the Summit Green Fest!
Kevin made the 350 tree from recycled materials and Fest participants painted the leaves on one side and marked their pledge to lower their carbon impact on the back. Pledges ranged from shopping locally, recycling more and showering with friends! Let's hope everyone practices their pledge :-)
