TASK FORCE: Developing an Action Plan for a Sustainable Summit We Want You
to Participate By June 2008, the Mayor’s Sustainable Communities Task Force plans to produce
a green master plan for Summit—the “Action Plan for a Sustainable Summit”—to guide the city’s
choices in key areas of environmental and economic stress. Toward that goal, the Task Force and its Advisory Group
will be holding public meetings from November 2007 through January 2008 to solicit community input regarding a variety of
critical issues, including: Energy conservation and renewable energy, Solid waste reduction and recycling, Transportation, Green building practices Water usage, quality and conservation Pesticide and Herbicide
